This time last year everything was set for mining/barging & sales.We were then told that the river levels were too low for barging so
bugger all has happened in the interim.
So, logically, the prerequisite for barging/sales is enough water in the river to barge;
otherwise the rest is a lot of "Who shot John"! and this is why river levels' discussion is the
elephant on these threads.
