Spot on, the river is the key so production, equipment and infrastructure are required to fit around the river that will actually do whatever it wants.
Why dis Anak fail? Lack of money leading to Tonker toy sized equipment and mining plan/process that was irrational to achieve sensible medium term stable production.
BMA is not approaching this in that manner.
