Making smart decisions with scrip in a historic gold bubble doesn't seem like something that should fear.
The market is feverish at the moment, using the disconnect between the gold price, producers equity values and explorers to strengthen the real business through regional consolidation and revenue generation makes a lot of sense to me.
Management teams that have been through the cycles tend to remember the good and bad, leverage goes both ways.
