no that’s not how it works
all commercial leases will have annual rent reviews which are either linked to cpi or fixed increase
it will also have market review every 3 or 5 years , which is rent review to market price… as with clw, we can also expect huge market review for the pubs… as with the tenant accepting the massive rent increase, they will either accept or reject which will then result in court proceedings…. That is unlikely….
as with clw’s tenant going bust, extremely low chance of that happening…
so you are not locked into low rent for years as there are rent reviews in place
