BMW and other car makers may want ethical Aussie cobalt, but they want to pay dirty DRC prices for it.
BAR's problem remains the price of cobalt. US$14/lb = about $31/kg or $31,000/t. PFS shows All in Sustaining Costs of US$35,400/t.
That's why they have parked the project. Thanks heavens for the counter cyclical gold strategy to hold the price marginally above peanuts in the meantime.
