Ann: CNQ Signs Technology License Agreement with BEIE, page-22

Welcome to China and operating in the developing world. My understanding was that CNQ were well aware of these dangers and preserved crucial IP in their Melbourne office such that without this element the Bionex process (and components) was inoperable. I guess we shall see if the Chinese can duplicate this (they are very good) but the company i worked for prior to retirement was ripped off something aweful but we walked into the deal knowing the score and came out of it OK. Problem the Chinese have (once and if they crack the "preserved" IP) is that they will be unable to sell the process outside for China and it's affiliates but their effort will give us credibility which we can then sell into USA/Europe where IP is "respected". It's all part of the game of dealing with China and the Americans/Europeans know it (and hopefully also CNQ)
