I agree it certainly does seem like a DERM beatup. My understanding is that DERM has recruited scientists to "look after" UCG in Queensland. These guys no doubt are on a huge learning curve and anxious not to make mistakes. In my experience this leads them to ask as many questions as they can think of possibly to put off the day when they have to make a recommendation. As long as the questions are valid scientific ones then that is OK by me provided that they make a decision based upon the facts and sooner rather than later.
