Words bespoke by equities advisors and quoted as fact on shares forums should be considered critically ... imo, too much is made of the CSIRO connection and CRIPS is most definitely not new technology ... nor to my knowledge has it been successfully deployed anywhere.
CRIPS v other UCG technologies is much akin to horizontal v vertical well completions in the coal seam gas industry ... there are coal basins where one or the other works well and economically. Not a lot of point spending more on horizontal drilling if the result is unreliable and perhaps not universally applicable.
