Good question. Dry season is June, July and August. Some years there is no effect on barging as the rain is in the Central Kalimantan mountains. Some years it extends into September, That is why we need ISP at Buntok. And why Petrindo infrastructure deal is so important. We should be shifting all coal to Buntok now.
It is difficult to know why this has not already happened but we don't know all the moving parts that have resulted in these decisions.
And of course we will have to pay the lease on 2 x barges.
These may be used by BSN (our logistics division) to move other people's coal to Taboneo.
