I understand JORC has a job to do but coal reserves will only get deeper as shallow deposits dry up - making them more expensive to extract - and in many cases uneconomical - that said I know of a mine that after rehabilitation dug it up again when prices allowed it to dig deeper - and then the Green debate - should we start new mines - hard to get new qualified people if they don’t think there is a future - good supervision is a problem at the moment
