Would that we could look at the share register, or may be not, if our information from there revealed that prime movers were selling we'd get more nervous. Even if it were so, the way in which progress has been made suggests the aim is along similar lines to the Fox deal. In order to build a share price which does sustain positive momentum it's necessary to have a broad base of interest. Possibly our prime movers are doing that by selling on good news so as to have a SP price which is even better news in the longer term.
Say the remuneration packet had been for a lesser amount of shares, wouldn't the prime movers be keen to hold? Well their experience of market forces may have led them to the conclusion that the market generally drives down the value of good stocks. Therefore no point in having a parcel which they must increment through time working on their holding. Better to have a large initial holding which is not to be tightly held rather to be dispersed so as to enlarge shareholder base.
