    Unfortunately rutile/hiti is the lightest mineral closest to sand specific gravity, to try and get the silica out of the Zircon they maybe cutting too hard in the spirals

    sounds like they have an issue with spiral recovery which maybe a function poor plant design or plant settings / adjustment and also non mag separation / trash removal
