I have some COH and was thinking of getting some more using the above SPPO. I am curious what the final cost will approximate, because I do not understand the comments...
"SPP Shares will be offered at the lower of: • the Placement Price of A$140.00 per share; and • 2% discount to the volume weight average price of Cochlear shares traded during the fiveASX trading days up to, and including, the closing date of the SPP (expected to beThursday, 23 April 2020)."
It seems like the price will be $140.00 per share, ...BUT... then there is a further condition talking about a 2% discount etc on the volume weighted average etc.Considering the price now is about $194.55, and rising.
Is this saying the price will be $140.00 per share BUT if the volume weighted average etc causes the share price to be lower, then the share price will be lower, but if the sums say the share price will be higher, the Placement Price of $140.00 will stand?
