The Chinese will steal all the IP and exploit it. Cochlear will suffer 10 years of cheap local competitors undercutting their business before appointing the receivers.
Chris Roberts was approached by the Chinese 10 years ago for a partnership and refused. There was some retaliation, but Cochlear weathered it and came out stronger.
There will be some people who mistakenly think its a good move. More fool them.
