The upside is leverage, being that if the share price hits 10c this year, the options would be worth 4c, a 4x ROI. At the same time its just on a 2.5x on current share price.
The options price will vary based on amount of time left until expiry; the more time you have the more theoretical time to get into the money so to speak so they will trade with this addition.
