I wonder why they drilled hole 1 where they did! Its collar details (see Appendix 1) would have been carefully chosen, eh! It purposefully avoided the known mineralisation.
It was a stroke of genius perhaps with some subtle clues in place or just a lucky 'wild cat'.
Regardless, it hit both chalcopyrite and bornite. For starters, it has extended the known area of copper mineralisation, also perhaps nibbled at the core of the porphyry at its end.
How big might this all be?
