I believe back in 2019 CHK owned 30% of the JV with Olympic Domain Pty Ltd over the IOGC tenements in SA.

Since then CHK have spent $$ to move to an 80% controlling interest and generate meaningful targets at both Horse Well (IOGC) and Pernatty (Mt Gunson style)

They have then had to deal with KAC who were in special administration at the time to obtain drilling permits and heritage approvals.

Finally they have needed to raise funds to drill these targets.

Unfortunately all that work takes time something well worth considering when looking at other prospects in the region.

During this time there was talk of interest in partnering from majors but possibly due to the types of deals on offer (majors don't offer to much at such an early stage) the existing JV arrangements and the shear potential of this drill program CHK have decided to go it alone for now.
