On our doorstep it appears that there are plans to build a massive copper mine. The costs for >1 km underground block caving mine is huge (Billions$$) and very difficult for a small company to accomplish so oftentimes the small company gets bought out.
Perhaps management are concentrating on finding some decent copper hits to tempt our neighbor resulting in a decent buy out price, instead of getting sidetracked with some lead/zinc hits that would be of no interest to our neighbor?
