I'm not going to get into the whole covid episode as there are too many people who have strong opinions of that period and continue to peddle conspiracy theories like we've all been chipped by Microsoft..suffice to say that period brought out every possible huckster, charlatan and QAnon thicko who invariably knew f##k all about anything but posted shite to YouTube anyway.
I don't know about the specific Pfizer vaccine results that you allege were fudged. There's nothing inherently wrong with subgroup analyses- all trials especially those with the sorts of numbers of people enrolled (in the 1000s or 10000s) undertake subgroup analyses to understand if there are particular groups that did better (or worse) than the overall result, and regulators like FDA may grant a label (approval) based on a subgroup. What you can't do though is to try to pass off a particular positive subgroup as being representative of the overall trial and fail to disclose that the overall trial failed to meet endpoints. That's a no no..
