I think we are about to hear some big news. New set of reserve figures due out shortly. this will be the catalyst for a good deal.
we all know we are a prime target for a takeover, and to justify the buying price I would suspect all negotiations hinge on the next set of reserve figures where Comet will be saying ' well boys and girls, this is the gas we have, how much do you want to pay for known reserves'.
