There are 2500 listed companies on disallowed over 2000 have CEO’s who are also directors. Many of the CEOs are major shareholders. Take when Andrew Forest was CEO of Fortescue forMany years. What matters is that non exec directors outnumber executive directors. CKA has two non exec Australian directors. And in execution director. So that’s the correct test. You want a CEO who is fully committed. You can’t fault Karan for being fully committed but also he has proved himself already. Also remuneration disclosed today is the full remuneration. He does not get two remunerations. Just the one for both MD and CEO.
