Probably worked something along this way:
St Rizzo went to Bacchus Marsh one day and saw that what supposed to be a working factory producing hydrogen and energy was just a run down industrial yard with junk piled around.
"There is no working hydrogen production train. Where is the kiln? I can't see Graphenex's 9.2 megwatt generator anywhere or the Panasonic Fuel Cells with their blinking lights. The EV charging station is not here either. All we got is a machine that squeezes out some compressed lignite".
He became very depressed and went for a walk.
In the back of the complex he saw a shed where lignite went in one end and trucks with fertiliser came out the other.
He stuck his head in an open doorway, saw what was going on and had an epiphany.
Running back to the ECT area he called out "Guys, I got an idea, stay with me here....."
