The corporations Code makes it heaps less stressful and cost to do a placement than a rights issue. Directors will always go for the easy option. Ok. a rights issue would attract more loyalty than the grab and dump by sophisticated investors. The only solace is the non exec director who has inside knowledge took up 50 large in the issue. He cant sell and keep his job. So he is an idiot or is sticking his nose in the trough before it runs. He sells he discloses hes gone.
So let them trash. its a hollywood story about to crank.
