Mock me if you will, but do the sums. If you had invested your hard-earned into bank stocks 10 years ago (instead of PYC), would your net position be better or worse than it is now? I wager that it would have been better than it is. Don't get me wrong; I'm not saying don't invest in spec. biotech stocks (I have), but I have somewhat hedged that by also investing in boring old banks. To each their own. I'm just puzzled that you express frustration that the SP does not obligingly jump whenever a mildly positive ANN is made. The SP will jump (IMO) when an ANN is made that indicates an inflow of large amounts of cash to the company's coffers. Unfortunately, however elegant the science may be prior to that point, the market will "not give a rat's." That's just how I see it.
