Reading about the Tesla truck. They have a range issue with their rigs. They can work within a 250-300mile range with a limited 60km per hour speed. They could use one of these babies and so could their cars. The Janus rig wants to hit 1000km range and the LIS battery is probably their best shot. Janus could have 2 different models as well. Long range and mid range lower load trucks for general deliveries. Tesla takes 90 mins to hit a 70% recharge while Janus will take 3minutes for an entire range swap out. Shows us the hype around Tesla while quiet achievers like Janus and LIS soldier on in the background. This is typical of Aussie tech and we usually get taken over when the penny drops. It would make sense on paper for a major to simply buy LIS out for big bucks and speed up the process by years.
