I send an email to management this afternoon in regards to the recent $70mil gov grant for the Townsville green hydrogen project.
30 odd mins later i get a response!

"Townsville is one of the federal government’s hubs… and has a busy group of proponents for both domestic and export proposals. The shipping distance from Townsville to Asia markets vs Tiwi Islands (or the NT) is further, and in some cases almost 1,000Nm. So in summary, the economics for us look better with the Tiwi location as we are sensitive to distance for a given volume. Tiwi also comes with a dedicated deepwater port, whereas Townsville will have competition for shared access. I hope that makes sense. We continue to hold a dialogue with the relevant Federal agencies and MPs and we feel the Tiwi project can attract funding as we continue to mature the project". Regards Martin
With a $30mil market cap this is looking cheap.
