Sorry folks, but I did my belated research on Eritrea shortly after my last post and have been selling down ever since, the final few sold today.
I should have researched Eritrea long, long ago, having held since before they got into the project. The research was real quick and easy, less than an hour of googling revealed what a horrid regime it is, with damning reports from Amnesty, Human Rights and Transparency groups. Even if it weren't for the risk dealing with such a regime I could not stomach holding after checking.
The project itself looks to be shaping up well, but I can't see any listing in Canada, or much involvement from Western investors. Must say my thoughts are more with the long suffering people of Eritrea and I can only hope for a regime change. I certainly regret being in to this stage, and any small help it may have made to support the regime that this project surely will support and finance if it succeeds.
Embarrassed to be writing this now and not 4 or 5 years ago.
