    IMHO the pumped hydro potential for an end of life mine is interesting, certainly thr site’s proximity to large scale PV solar and a major city make it an argueable project, however my view is the mine will run far longer than 8.5 years, and in 20 years time battery technology will be more cost effective than pump hydro.
