OMG!
You are incredible, if what you state is true, then this is what you are saying,
Baghdadi has convinced the following people to actively deceive the market, fo no material gain whatsoever to themselves, and just so he can get paid a fee, which he then reinvests into the company. Remember, the total amount Baghdadi has invested in the past 18 months exceeds the total amount that has been paid to him in the last 10 years! So, with that being said, let's look at the long list of people that according to your logic, are participating in Baghdadi's "Shell Game" as you put it,
- Mark Johnson AO, an Officer of the Order of Australia, Former Managing Director of Macquarie Bank, Former director or chairman of, Westfield, AGL, Alinta Energy, Pioneer Concrete and countless other companies. You're suggesting that the guy who set up the framework for the one of Australia's most successful companies, is either wittingly or unwittingly participating in a shell game
- Tony Ferguson, former Managing Director of Rothschild Australia and an International Partner and Former head of Macquarie Resources. According to your logic, same thing, he is knowingly or unknowingly enabling a shell game according to you
- Greg Hall, former chief geologist of what arguably one of the most successful gold mining companies in the world, Placer Gold, a company that was purchased by Barrick for A$15.57 billion in 2005 when the gold price was $444 an ounce, is also in the same position as Mark Johnson and Tony Ferguson
- Bill Lannen, Mining Engineer and founder of a successful mining contractor, and who is an expert in his field is in the same position as the rest of the board?
- Researchers Alison Ord from Mineral Dynamics, and Bruce Bruce Hobbs, the former Deputy Chief Executive of Minerals and Energy at CSIRO and a Companion of the Order of Australia, are also in on the shell game?
- Baghdadi has convinced the United State Geological Survey, a US government organisation with an annual budget of about US$3.2 billion to make up results so they too can be in on the shell game?
- The Mariano father Son Rare Earth geologists, who governments use to consult on REE projects, and are the go to experts in the field, they have staked their reputation on this "Shell Game" have they?
- AMDAD, the Queensland based group that did the scoping study, are you saying Baghdadi convinced them too, to make up stories and play the shell game?
- ALS laboratories, the people who exposed the multi billion dollar Bre-X scam, you're suggesting they are prepared to bend the rules for Dateline and Baghdadi so they too can play the "Shell Game" because Baghdadi convinced them?
- Two separate firms of resource geologists that have spent a lifetime building their credibility are now prepared to put their names to resource statements that are a part of a shell game because Baghdadi convinced them to?
If Baghdadi has achieved all that, and convinced/motivated all those people and organisations to lie and play this "shell game", then he should be running for Prime Minister!!
You're proposition of this being a shell game rings as hollow as the gap between your ears, especially when you consider that the amount that the board has invested in the Company outweighs by a significant margin, anything that has been paid out to them.
