So, where to now? There is some form of TGA approval isn't it or do we need to wait for the final results from the trial? And how much weight should we give to these prelim results anyway?
The other telling stat they gave is that the FIT only gets used by about 40% of those with the high-risk profile in the over 49 years of age cohort, and that colon cancer is the biggest fatal cancer type in the 25-29 age bracket. Very hard for a GP to tell the average person to go play with their sh!t on the off-chance they has cancer. A much easier sell is to be able to say, look we will just run some standard bloods on you. I reckon GPs will love this product if it gets commercialised.
