I am travelling in China and asked our very competent and well traveled technical translator regarding the delays to Australian coal shipments and he said:
- it is definitely Mr Xi sending a message to the Australian government to reassess their priorities,
- the fact that the delays have not been publicised in the local (China) media suggests it is just a temporary policy/delay.
Based on that I just topped up at 255c.
