Assuming MYR SP remain at current level after the merge. 890mil share= 814mil dollar. That Appeal Brand of Just group is bought at PE 10.7x. There is no reason to doubt the SP will decline in that sense.
However, considering the retail environment, Just group appeal brands performance is deteriorating. Usually HY result will be communicated at backend of March, I don't know if we will have a chance to see the result of recent HY before this merge is done.
IMHO, Myer profit rate is significantly lower than Just group. Whether the merge is good or not is really determined that future myer will learn from Just Group or the Just Group will be nowadays Myer. Or if we see major executives leaving Just Group appeal brands, we will have trouble.
