This was also my initial thoughts as well. We get the dregs while the actual premium brands are spun off elsewhere.

Let's hope there is some cost reduction synergies (staffing, logistics, rental leverage) along with expansion of the Myer One userbase to look forward to.
Despite decreasing sales in those brands they do offer higher margins, so with the right strategies (and reduced competition) there is opportunity here if executed properly.

I also expect some potential tailwinds for the retail sector from easing interest rates over the coming 6-12 months. Add to that the building industry is stretched to extremes so no one can get reno's done ... good time to pop out and grab a new suit and shoes to brighten ones day.

I have a pretty low entry price on MYR so am pretty comfortable to see how it pans out,
