'Thickest Coals Seams Intersected to Date' nice headline but the fine print has me a little concerned, in particular the low permeability's recorded in BW1, BW5, BW7, CM1 and CM3. Coal seams with low permeability's require the wells to be drilled laterally into the coal seams to get commercial flow rates, adding costs to the drilling process. Hopefully this wont prove to be much of an issue for BOW but i would be interested to hear what others with more knowledge of the CSG industry have to say about seams with low permeability's.
