Ig6 basically bought out CRL to protect the SP. Those funds could have been spent on other projects.
Seems like they've taken on a liability. Why couldn't CRL secure a loan from somewhere else? If CRL didn't hold 30% of IG6, do you think IG6 would have given such a loan?
Sure, it removes short-term uncertainty and a potential sell off, that's good but in 2 years they'll be the same predicament. If CRL aren't successful then it will remain a burden.
