I (like you) only post when I think I might have something to add to a thread on HC but unlike you I don't try and restrict posters from participating in discussion in stocks that they may be invested in or seek to take a position. So some are excited about a stock - good on em'. That's why this forum was created, so that people can discuss their investments. In addition some comments can spark a good discussion with people of varying levels of experience and industry knowledge - another key factor in learning - also a reason this forum is so popular.
