I think you and I have a very similar fear.
I am not panicing yet. But like you I think it important to make sure it is an issue and that management are aware of the potential consequences of inaction.
I still hope that they will be good to their word and we will be looked after. If not then I will be in contact. No threats. Just consequences.
But no need to panic yet.
