read through some of the comments above I think it's key to remember SE is not the main play here but will hopefully be able to fund the extensive drilling that would be required across the Cu project areas.
IMO it is essential the BT, CC etc are all drilled and exploration activities continue in parallel. significant Cu discovery would change SPQ overnight but that takes a lot of drilling, analysis and money.
there is a reason BHP attempted AngloAmerican they wanted to be ready for when the coming copper crunch happens but importantly they want to be early to the party not when the party has started and start paying hefty prices like previous boom times. although SPQ is not mining Cu anytime soon in a hot copper market predicted for shortly any significant discovery would be snapped up by majors at a very competitive price.
I'm excited for SE drilling but more so BT, I think we will be floating in the 2-3 cents range once method of funding has been announced.
