I would love to see one truly independent Director on the Board of every company I hold shares in, simply with the mandate to keep the other Directors honest. When they sit down and discuss their bonuses in Boardrooms do they ever contemplate what is fair and reasonable or what is the max they can get away with?
In this case they have surpassed all reasonable boundaries and will get the votes they deserve, simply for being unreasonable. On the current terms, my personal view is that RR would be very fortunate to get 2m performance rights or alternatively for the share price hurdles to be lifted by at least 10c per outcome.
