ah to be 38 again. Sigh... not really, I’ve had a wonderful life and wouldn’t change it for anything (the last 2 years not so good, but I’ve had my 3 score and 10 years, so no complaints). but you seem to have it well sorted. Well done at your age. You can actually afford to go broke and start again at least once, maybe twice. Not that you want or plan to do that. But most don’t see crashes coming and they’re brutal. I’ve seen people lose everything including their homes. these spec punts can be great, as we’re seeing, but if those drills aren’t up to at least FEX grade & tons, it will tank.
so aggressive punting is fine at your age, just not at mine. Indeed, I was super aggressive back in the old days and was even heavily geared at one point. Only investing in junior resource stocks that were undervalued.
the health is ok atm, thanks. Unfortunately, increasing medical/health expenses are a part of ageing. So we have to provide for that too.
have fun and enjoy. The 30’s, 40’s, 50’s & 60’s were great times for me.
