Totally agreed! The big natural stones continue to be valued, as unique and priceless collectors' items. It is the 'Indian goods' that have been knocked out of the market. All that small stuff that comes out of low-grade alluvial deposits kilometres downstream of the actual diamond pipes. The sort of scraps that would be sold to misguided teenagers, shopping for engagement rings at the discount jewelers in Hay Street Mall.

But getting back to the point, yes Antipa is at last showing some positive price-volume movement.

And re-reading it more critically, Monday's announcement actually only said that the diamond rig had only been 'mobilised to site'. But now, two days later it should be set up and drilling. Drilling either a 500m mud-rotary pre-collar, or if there is already a cased RC pre-collar in place, drilling straight into the underlying basement bedrock target, with some initial step-back from the hypothetical mineralised core of the anomaly, which it would reach in a day or so from now.

Lot of supposition there. But good to see the price and volume taking off.
