Crown Sydney was only ever built to serve VIP junkets. Which that market is all but gone.
Crown will never be competitive as a local gambling option in Sydney. 1) it was never designed to be, 2) its licence doesn't allow it to be.
Its hotel is the breadwinner along with its F&B. It is a perfect spot for both.
Their licence would need to be amended to allow it to be competitive, and i highly doubt that will happen anytime soon.
