Yes, this worries me a little that this advisor is somehow linked into Government corruption, with a plan to shift the Casino licence to somebody else who has lined their pockets. I have zero evidence, but I start jumping at shadows, as this is unusual. Regardless of what happens, they own the property, so it will earn good rent as a worse case scenario.
The focus on the Casino however is over the top. The Casino in my mind is very conservative, I couldn't even buy 2 beers at the bar after 11:00pm. The local RSL you can press a button on the machine and they bring you a beer, in the Star Casino you need to join a long queue and buy one beer at a time.
