Clarification of “IP”
I suspect posters who are saying we have no IP, mean our IP is not able to be patented.

I wasn’t at AGM so I don’t know what was said.

A process is only able to be patented if it uses a concept that is fundamentally unique or novel.

Any process that employs known technology – but in a certain different sequence etc - or at, say, a different temperature or pressure is not patentable.

To be patentable, a process has to incorporate new knowledge not previously known in that field of knowledge & which could be deduced by an average person educated in that field.

In MHM case, yeah, the process probably can’t be “patented”

But that doesn’t mean MHM process cannot be referred to as “IP”

Logically, the critical word is “property” – in MHM case, whether the knowledge of the process has a commercial value.

And when that process is secret it does have a commercial value – simply because someone has to pay to access it.
