re: Ann: Commencement of Longwall Operations-... For those investors who are thinking of buying or who are still holding through this barrage of constant selling, i firmly believe we are closer then ever to a long awaited turnaround in SP.
I bit the bullet today and finally rang the company through frustration and was directed through to Dr Chris Harvey who i'm assuming was their Investor Relation Representative but also happens to be their Head of Mining Operations. The conversation was reasonably brief but his answers were direct and mostly to my satisfaction.
1st question: Did he know who the major seller is and how much more script they have left that has been damaging the SP.
Answer: He is not privvy to that information of who buys and sells. So no. ( Find that hard to believe )
2nd Question: When do you expect to receive first revenues of the Longwall production?
Answer: Operations are still targeting to commence on 13th of March as per ASX Announcement in which once the coal is shipped, he expects revenues and cash flow to be received within a month. The coal will be mined and shipped immediately out of Port Kembla. ( No stockpiling which is a positive )
3rd Question: Can we expect any broker coverage in the future.
Answer: Not as yet. All efforts have been concentrated on Longwall completion and commencement of production.
4th Question: Has their industial action issues been addressed?
Answer: Yes. All areas of the operation are currently working. All issues have been resolved.
5th Question: Has there been any talks of privitisation or rumours circulating of delisting the comapany due to share price frustration. ( I know this question was clutching at straws)
Answer: Not that i have heard or aware of.
On a final note, he did say his is of the opinion that the major seller(s), institutions or whoever has been offloading will have "egg on their face" once new production gets rolling.
I thanked him for his time.
I thought it was somewhat cocky, yet reassuring statement to finish off. IMO only, i believe we are now at a company changing stage. The new Lonwall opertions should be a company maker and the catalyst for a share price turnaround. It is raining quite hard here in Sydney and forecasted till early next week. Hoping it doesn't cause last minute delays.
Hope this is of some help to the faithfull. Here is a link below to Dr Chris Harvey qualifications.
