Ultimately, the volume begets volume and before you know it the stock has some interested.

Not doubt some of the people whose attention was brought to the stock by the volume from 0.6 upwards would have bought in then and sold now, and some would have bought today.

Again, it's how the market works. Willing buyer, willing seller. Shares flow from traders to investors and vice versa. Everyone plays their part in the market.
