From the director resignation announcement:
The Chairman of XPD, Andrew Smith said “Rob has contributed to the Board and we wish to thank him for his professionalism and commitment. At times Boards face different choices in strategic direction, particularly on capital management issues. We respect Rob had different views on this matter and as a consequence has decided to resign.
It appears that Rob might have resigned over the decision to not pay a dividend. If this is the case then he's got my appreciation. It'd be nice to think there was at least someone in that boardroom sticking up for shareholders.
