Yes it is progress - though the outcome of the trial was really only that it doesn't impact the feed lot, not whether the application was economical, solved a particular challenge etc. Sounds like lots more to be discussed. I just assumed the process may be quicker. I'll keep watching, I think it will be a slow burn here.
