agree thate it's not a new drug but clinical trials all good through rigorous path of ethics, recruitment, data collection etc. You won't be able to bypass these steps though the trial itself may be relatively simple. I think 1- 2 years is the minimum for a triial- from design to final submission.
I do believe that Spontan is a great product and has good prospect of FDA approval but market doesn't like uncertainty and delays. The share price is hence unlikely to lift substantially unless there is some major news flow
