    The issue with the patent is novelty. Is it sufficiently novel as a method to suspend a drug in a liquid using a particular type of chemistry.

    I couldn't patent suspending panadol in honey - so it's all about whatever the chemistry is around suspension. If that is well trodden there is a risk that it can't be patented - which happens not infrequently. If there is a back and forward with the patent office I wouldn't assume its administrative.

    Hopefully for the sake of the small amount of money I am into this for they can get an effective patent. The issue will be that given the drug is a generic, the moat is delivery only.
